Great post. I firmly believe that thank you notes will always be one of the best ways to stand out in the minds of friends, family and colleagues. I owe my current job to the thank you note I sent in after my interview. It's a lost art that needs to be revived.

I wrote a similarly titled blog about them: The Art of Thank You Notes

Hey! Glad to read that the old fashioned way of sending ‘Thank you’ note still exists.

My ‘thumbs up’ to Rebecca!

This was a pertinent post. Virtual assistants have a lot of advantages. All of them translate to dollars and cents adding up to growth and profitability for your business. Using VAs allows you to shift the vital, repetitive yet essential tasks that you really do not have to do yourself, allowing you to focus on growing your top line via a new product or new service introduction or perhaps by diversifying into an entirely new business. - Yolanda

I appreciate your politely worded response. I also do not use Facebook for playing games and using applications either and often the clutter of requests for gifts and other items becomes simply that - clutter!

You have to listen to her story about sending her husband to the grocery store. I know you can relate to that one! I found myself mopping my eyes on my sleeve from laughing so hard. http://www.youtube.com/user/JeanneRobertson#p/a/u/1/-YFRUSTiFUs

I'm terrible trying to guess what my nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives want for Christmas. I also dislike sending money even if the bills are fresh, crisp and in a nice bank envelope. But everyone likes money and Amazon sells everything, so why NOT buy anyone an Amazon Gift Certificate? You can send one for any amount by E-mail or print one at home and include it in a nice card or (my favorite), buy a Gift Card made out to the relative and send it to myself, where I can include it in a nice Holiday card. This is the perfect gift!
